About David Edward Eisenhauer, DO

Care Philosophy I had a non-traditional path to medicine. I joined the military in college and served as an infantry medic. That training interested me in medicine. I love the people, both patients and co-workers. In orthopedics, we're not just helping people live longer, we're helping them live better. It’s super rewarding to give them back feeling and function back so they can get back what their condition took from them. There are lots of ways to treat orthopedic pathologies, including chronic ones. I involve patients in their care. If there are multiple treatment options, I present them and help patients choose the one that’s going to return them to the level of function they want. In orthopedic surgery, there are new products, new techniques, newer and better minimally invasive ways to do surgery. Surgery is getting smaller, by which I mean it’s getting less generally invasive. I really enjoy learning all these new advances and using them to help patients.

Was not given info about a final report or if doctor can explain again the treatment options? Vague exam but I was not asking the right questions or felt left out of what dr. Was thinking?
