About Misty Crider Day, MD

Care Philosophy I practice general obstetrics and gynecology and truly love my job. Who else gets to be intimately involved during so many life transitions - adolescence and puberty, young adulthood, and menopause; not to mention the miracle of pregnancy and birth. My goal is to educate my patients so they are prepared and at ease during each of these transitions. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, as they return year after year. In doing so, care is individualized and we can form a partnership in health decision-making.

I loved Dr. Day. She was so helpful and gave me the information I was looking for. The offices were clean and everyone was very nice. My only problem was with the building itself. The elevator was really dirty and scary sounding. The lobby didn't feel clean either. I understand that Mercy probably doesn't own the building, but somebody needs to be doing something about that.

The layout of the office suggested that I should stop at the check-out desk to make my follow up appointment. However, the co-worker that was working at the desk, did not acknowledge that I walked up. She continued her phone conversation and never made eye contact. I made my way out to the front check in desk, where the co-workers there were very welcoming and got my annual appointment made.
