About Robert D. Tague, MD

Care Philosophy My mother was a nurse, so I was introduced to medicine at an early age. And it just intrigued me at every turn, from junior high to high school college. It’s like every course I took, I could see something to do with medicine and I've loved it. I think my passion for caring for people comes from my family and being from a small town. We cared for our elderly, often in our own homes. And you saw the whole spectrum of life. I believe the most important characteristic a primary care provider needs is the ability to put yourself in your patients’ shoes, understand where they're coming from and treat them on their level. The biggest thing I want people to know about me and my practice is that they come first in every, every way. And I will never make a suggestion I don't think it's appropriate for them or their life.
