About Robert Jerome Fleming, PA

Care Philosophy I’ve always had an interest in medicine and wanted to be a provider. You're given certain talents and gifts, and those and my life experiences led to being a physician assistant, sharing the healing power of Christ through caring for the sick. My passion for caring for people comes from how I was raised. Many in my family, including my wife, are health care providers. Seeing them work and hearing their experiences motivated me to pursue medicine. I chose primary care to care for the whole person. I like providing a continuity of care. When you see your patient over months and years it lets you know that patient better than anyone else, from a medical perspective. I'm excited about working in this community. There’s a lot of need and potential to have a significant impact. I want people to know I'm going to provide the best care that I possibly can and treat them how I’d want to be treated. They’re in caring and competent hands.

        Robert Fleming gave sincere attention to my concerns and took extra steps to help with extended care. I told him that I am trying to recruit my husband to switch over to Mercy. I am always happy with the care that I receive at Mercy.

        When making an appointment for a patient, at least tell the patient, discuss it before you decide when they need to come in.

        The technician stuck and probe me too many time before getting another technician to submit the contrast. .
