    I called at 10:59 on 03/24 to inform the staff that I did not have information back from my daughter's teacher and I wanted to see if I needed to cancel the appointment, or reschedule it for when I got the paperwork back from her teacher. The staff told me there was no need to reschedule and I should still come in. I paid the $50 out of network co-pay, but the appointment was pointless without the paperwork back from my daughter's teacher. Dr. Nadvi did half of the intake from me, but we'll have to come back and pay another $50 co-pay when the paperwork is returned from my daughter's teacher. The additional appointment is only inconvenient for me now, but I would strongly like to impress upon your staff that not too long ago an additional $50 co-pay would have meant keeping a Dr appointment over buying diapers or groceries or gas for us.. and that's probably currently the case for other single moms. I could use a in-network Baptist doc for my kiddo, but she's been with Mercy since Demiramda and really loves Dr. Nadvi so we're not going anywhere. I'm just hoping this note helps prevent this from happening to a mom that maybe can't afford gas or the additional co-pay for an additional appointment that could have been avoided with proper communication.
