About Simran Bharat Hari, PA

Care Philosophy I chose family medicine because before I became a PA, I worked as a scribe in family medicine and I noticed the long-term relationships providers had with patients. I liked the variety of what you see in the clinic-acute visits, well-child visits, physicals, even follow-ups on chronic conditions. The relationships spoke to me the most in primary care. I want patients to know I'll always give them a well-rounded visit and take the time to listen to all their complaints. Even if I don't have all the answers, I'll get it for them, from my peers or from a specialist. The most gratifying part of my job is sometimes the smallest things, refilling a prescription, listening to their concerns and hearing how their personal life is affecting their health. Being a good listener is very important to me and I'll always work to give that to my patients.

        Everything about my experience was exceptionally good, as it always is when I go to the Waterloo Clinic. Simran, the PA, was so thoughtful and understanding and spent plenty of time with me, which I truly appreciated. I don't know the name of the lab person, but she couldn't have been better. So I just wanted to compliment everyone, even at the front desk, for being attentive and kind and welcoming. Thank you very much.

        Waterloo Mercy is a perfect fit for me. It's a family feel facility. I trust them with me and my families lives. I don't give that trust away easily either.

        I needed to speak with provider and called back, was told the message would be forwarded and they would call me back. End of day heard nothing.. I called back and provider was gone .. not the first time this has happened. Have never had anyone get back with me and had to use Urgent Care facility twice...
