Care PhilosophyThe best thing about taking care of kids is the continuity of care - seeing kids for both sick and well visits, getting to know them. It's really kind of a special relationship. I see kids from newborns to teenagers, so I get to know them along the way and have those moments talking about how school's going, sports, or trips they've been on recently makes it really special.

The majority of the nurses here have very little bedside manors. I've thought that since my daughter was born but just kept giving them chances. They've never introduced themselves and rush through what they need to do, with no care to the patience of the child or how upset the child is with being there. I've yet to have one nurse that made us feel welcome, didn't rush us, or engage with my child. They are just very callus with no bedside manors at all. Dr Goldammer is amazing though, we love her.

I think that the nurse was a little rough on him with the shot situation. The doctor that the office that we used to go to, the nurses would even call another nurse in to like work together to get them all done at once so that he didn't have to sit there and it be prolonged because he was really struggling. I just think that her bedside manner could have been a lot better. More kid friendly.
