Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City Recognized for Earning Patient Loyalty

August 27, 2020

OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 27, 2020) - Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City was recognized as a 2020 Top 100 Consumer Loyalty Award winner by NRC Health. Mercy was the only hospital to receive the award.

The award is the only loyalty-based hospital ranking system in the country that recognizes the top health care organizations for earning exceptional loyalty ratings from their patients. Mercy was selected based on results from NRC Health’s Market Insights survey, the largest database of health care consumer responses in the country.

The study surveyed more than 310,000 people in the U.S. and asked consumers about their engagement with health care providers in their community. Hospitals were rated based on seven metrics including access to care, patient loyalty and experience.

“NRC Health’s research has shown our community has noticed a difference in the care we provide at Mercy,” said Jim Gebhart, community president of Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City. “For Mercy co-workers, health care isn’t just our job, it’s our calling to serve our patients and provide an exceptional experience. That calling continues to motivate us to carry on even through these challenging times.”
