Money magazine recently recognized Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City as one of the best hospitals in the country for cancer care — the only Oklahoma hospital to make the list.
The ranking was based on Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City’s commitment to excellence in cancer treatment from an expert team of oncologists and other cancer specialists. To be considered for the list of the top 75, a hospital must have at least one oncologist who received an A rating in either medical oncology, surgical oncology, hematology oncology, gynecological oncology or radiation oncology.

Money’s editorial team used data from Denniston Data, Definitive Healthcare and publicly available data to determine the final rankings. They reviewed data from nearly 6,000 hospitals or other cancer-treatment facilities across the United States.
Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City’s cancer program is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. To receive accreditation, programs must continually meet rigorous standards related to quality, coordinated cancer care.
