Q. Did you always know you wanted to be a doctor?
A. No, I started out as a medic in the Army and discovered I liked helping people. I decided to go to medical school after my enlistment.
Q. What drew you to Orthopedics?
A. I knew in orthopedics I could fix the problem and help the patient with their life.

Q. What is your favorite thing about your job?
A. My favorite thing about being an orthopedic surgeon is that I can help people gain better function in their lives.
Q. What made you want to join Mercy?
A. My brother-in-law works for Mercy in Springfield and spoke highly of the organization. I also have friends from residency who work for Mercy and say the same thing.
