Mercy's complete community cancer program at Mercy Cancer Center - Ada has been accredited with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
This distinction has been held continuously since 1970. Mercy’s oncology nurses in Ada are all chemotherapy- and biotherapy-certified by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).

Mercy Cancer Center - Ada offers a variety of recommended cancer screenings to help detect cancer at early stages. Cancer screening greatly improves the odds of early detection, which can lead to more successful treatment.
The American Cancer Society recommends annual mammograms for women beginning at the age of 40. We offer screening and diagnostic mammograms (including 3D Mammography) in Ada with expert follow-up care.
Symptoms of lung cancer might not show up until a more advanced stage. Screening with a low-dose CT (LDCT) can detect lung cancer earlier than ever, which can improve your odds of survival. It's recommended for people between the ages of 55-77 with risk factors for lung cancer, like smoking.
The American Cancer Society recommends annual colorectal cancer screening beginning at the age of 45. Mercy primary care doctors and Mercy colon specialists can help determine which screening test is best for you.
