Specialists in a wide range of patient-care areas coordinate care to meet every patient need. They include:
- Board-certified hematologists and radiation oncologists
- Certified oncology nurses with specialized training in chemotherapy and biotherapy
- A medical physicist, certified medical dosimetrist and registered radiation therapists, all with extensive training in designing and delivering customized radiation therapy treatments
- Nurse navigators who research clinical trials, coordinate genetic testing for cancer risk and serve as important resources for patients
- Journey guides who serve as resources to patients and caregivers, from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship
- A dietitian who is specially trained in oncology and nutrition, serving patients during and after treatment
- Social workers who assist patients and caregivers with various needs throughout treatment, including advance directives, financial resources and medication assistance
