When you're sick or have a minor injury, you shouldn't put off seeking medical care. Mercy Clinic at Southeast Missouri University is ready to help you get the health care you need when you need it.
Our clinic serves the students, faculty and staff of SEMO. We're located close by campus, within walking distance of student housing and classrooms. If you need to get medical care but don't have a car, we're an excellent choice.
Our campus health clinic provides many convenient services to help keep you healthy and safe, including:
We can also make referrals for other health care services you may need. If you need primary care, you may make an appointment with a Mercy provider elsewhere. Mercy Clinic at Southeast Missouri University shouldn't replace your family physician and other primary care provider.
In addition to our exceptional services and convenient location, we have dedicated and friendly staff members who enjoy building relationships with people. From our receptionist at the front desk to our nurse practitioner and RN, everyone on our team is excited to work with you.
For students in particular, we're happy to offer an atmosphere that's both relaxed and judgment-free. Because you should never feel uncomfortable seeking medical care for any reason.
Our billing process is also friendly toward students. Any remaining balance after we bill your health insurance will be applied to your university student account.
If you don't have health insurance, we can also bill your student account for the total cost. Students without insurance can fill out an application for our Financial Assistance Program. If you're 18 or older, the application will be based on your student income only.
Appointments are encouraged but not required. You can make an appointment by calling us at 573-651-2270. We see walk-ins on a first-come-first-served basis.
