Mobile Mammography in Eureka
Staying on top of your breast health has never been easier. The Mercy Mobile Mammography van brings 3D mammography right to your neighborhood. You’ll find us parked at 20 Legends Parkway in Eureka on the third Thursday of every month with appointments available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please note that the van is not wheelchair accessible. Patients must be able to use stairs to enter and exit.
Legends Parkway Breast Screening Services
During your visit, our team helps you feel comfortable and explains what to expect. You’ll receive:
- Advanced digital 3D mammography
- Care from technologists specially trained and certified in mammography
- Images interpreted by fellowship-trained breast radiologists
Your screening is part of your overall care. Our team can help you understand next steps and coordinate follow-up when needed, while MyMercy offers a convenient way to manage your health information between visits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Typically exams take just 15 minutes (or 30 minutes if you have breast implants).
Bring your photo ID and medical insurance card.
With a MyMercy account, you’ll see results in 24-72 hours. If you don’t use MyMercy, results come by mail within two weeks. If you had a prior mammogram at a non-Mercy facility, we’ll try to obtain the images for comparison, which may take a few weeks.
You’ll be asked to schedule additional imaging at a Mercy facility. This may include ultrasound imaging to determine whether it’s a normal breast change or if more testing or a biopsy is needed.
Start at age 40 if you’re at average risk of breast cancer — meaning you have no family history of the disease or other risk factors. If you have a family history of breast cancer or other risks, talk with your doctor about the schedule that’s right for you.
