Mobile Mammography in St. Charles
The Mercy mammography van visits our Zumbehl Road location on the first Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. During your visit, you’ll receive the same high-quality breast imaging available at our other locations, with the convenience of mobile care. Our van offers advanced digital 3D technology, with caregivers specially trained and certified in mammography. And your images will be interpreted by fellowship-trained breast radiologists at our Mercy breast centers.

The van will be located at 1820 Zumbehl Road in St. Charles, Missouri. To schedule your mammogram, call 314.251.6300 and select option 0. Please note that the mobile unit requires the use of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
When you choose Mercy for your mammogram, your care is connected to a larger team focused on your overall health. You can use the MyMercy app to manage appointments, view test results and stay in touch with your care team.

Typically exams take just 15 minutes (or 30 minutes if you have breast implants).
Bring your photo ID and medical insurance card.
With a MyMercy account, you’ll see results in 24-72 hours. If you don’t use MyMercy, results come by mail within two weeks. If you had a prior mammogram at a non-Mercy facility, we’ll try to obtain the images for comparison, which may take a few weeks.
You’ll be asked to schedule additional imaging at a Mercy facility. This may include ultrasound imaging to determine whether it’s a normal breast change or if more testing or a biopsy is needed.
Start at age 40 if you’re at average risk of breast cancer — meaning you have no family history of the disease or other risk factors. If you have a family history of breast cancer or other risks, talk with your doctor about the schedule that’s right for you.
