President, Mercy Southeast Communities
Amanda “Mandy” Shelast serves as president of Mercy Southeast Communities, leading operations and strategy for Mercy’s hospitals and clinics in Cape Girardeau, Perryville and Dexter, Missouri. She joined Mercy in 2026, bringing more than 16 years of healthcare leadership experience, improving patient access and care, supporting physicians and providers and guiding healthcare systems through growth and change. Prior to Mercy, Mandy served as a network president for Sanford Health.

Amanda “Mandy” Shelast earned a bachelor’s degree in community development and a master’s degree in health services administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
