President, Mercy Joplin Communities
Jeff Carrier serves as president of Mercy’s Joplin communities, leading operations and strategy for Mercy’s hospitals and clinics in the Joplin/Carthage, Missouri and Columbus/Galena/Pittsburg, Kansas areas. He joined Mercy in 2026, bringing more than 18 years of health care experience and executive leadership roles with Midwestern health systems. Prior to Mercy, Jeff served as a region president of Baptist Health.
Education and Credentials
Jeff Carrier earned his master’s in management from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and his bachelor’s in nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.
