Chief Physician Executive, Cancer Care
Peter DiPasco, MD serves as Mercy’s chief physician executive of cancer care, leading multi-disciplinary teams across medical, surgical and radiation oncology. Dr. DiPasco joined Mercy in 2020 as a surgical oncologist and endocrine surgeon. Prior to Mercy, he served as assistant professor of surgery and staff surgical oncologist/endocrine surgeon at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Education and Credentials
Dr. DiPasco earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a surgical oncology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
