Chief Physician Executive, Neurosciences
Sami Khoshyomn, MD serves as Mercy’s chief physician executive of neurosciences, leading operative and non-operative neuroscience care for adult and pediatric patient populations. Dr. Khoshyomn, a board-certified neurosurgeon, joined Mercy in 2005 as a pediatric neurosurgeon. Previous leadership roles with Mercy include section chair and specialty council lead of neurosurgery; vice president of neurosciences and regional service line chair of neurosciences.
Education and Credentials
Dr. Khoshyomn earned his medical degree from the University of Vienna Faculty of Medicine. He completed a transitional year internship and a neurosurgery residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Following his residency, he completed a pediatrics neurosurgery fellowship at Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
