The women checking us in were nice and so was the nurse practitioner. They made me and my son comfortable. The DR was male and was the urologist. I feel like he seemed super educated and I have zero doubt he knew how to do surgery correctly but his compassion level and ability to make my son feel comfortable was non existent. Our whole interaction was awkward feeling to say the least. It seemed he was quick to write off what my son was wanting to do (be circumcised) bc my son and his father didn't want to do a second reccomended procedure that the surgeon was reccomending. Father has same diagnosis as child (hypospadias) and was very clear that son didn't want the corrective surgery, due it being minor. Surgeon basically said he wouldn't circumcise my son unless he did both surgeries. I've never sensed a DR get that annoyed when we turned down agreeing to both procedures. It's my sons body, he has the right to chose what he wants done to it and what he doesn't. Dr. Should have helped us accomplish sons goal not his own goals.

The doctors nurse went back and forth and acted like my child's need wasn't that bad but to the parent it was a big deal to me and then once the doctor came in she was more compassionate about my child.

Dr. Palagiri's office is awesome, amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, timely. My son even asked if they could be his regular pediatrician. We love this office tremendously and I fully, fully trust Dr. Palagiri.
