About Arya Namin, MD

Care Philosophy My practice as a facial plastic surgeon is unique in that I don't focus specially on cosmetic surgery or reconstructive surgery. I don't even really see a line between cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. My objective is to give the patient their highest self-confidence and their highest satisfaction, whether that's reconstructing their face after a large tumor resection or changing the shape of their nose.

I think the Dr could use a refresh on bedside manners. He was a little too matter a fact about telling me that I have the beginning stages of ALS. Not being a neurologist, he should have said that he had concerns and to see a neurologist immediately. To come out and just tell me that I have it and showing me the door showed no compassionate and gives no room for hope.
