About Dominic Amadeo Jacobelli, MD

Care Philosophy I completed my fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. As a non-operative board-certified on physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, my clinical interests include treatment of chronic tendinopathies, fracture management, sports concussion management, treatment of osteoarthritis, diagnostic ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions and evaluation and management of sports related injuries. Procedures I routinely perform include ultrasound (US) guided hip injection, US guided shoulder injection, needle tenotomy (fenestration) for chronic lateral epicondylitis, needle tenotomy for chronic medial epicondylitis, US guided ankle injections, US guided tendon sheath injections and guided peripheral nerve injections.

    Dr Jacobelli was wonderful. He took the time to explain, to communicate and to answer all my questions. He explained my options and allowed me to decide (with his help) on my plan of treatment. I am very appreciative to have been able to see him. Support staff was great as well, excellent clinic, excellent staff, excellent Dr.!
