Care Philosophy As Family Medicine Physicians, our mission is providing "continuing, comprehensive health care" to you and your family. We take a special interest in the whole person, recognizing one's emotional as well as physical needs.         Hello, I was very concerned as this was the second time that a medical assistant took my blood pressure and the cuff became very, very, very tight and it was very painful. I did tell a medical assistant about this and rather than stopping the process, she simply said that, well, we won't try again if this doesn't work. In the meantime, it was really hurting. So I'm just kind of concerned about that and think there should be a better way. Thanks very much. I appreciate the feedback.

        Dr. Chen is amazing, the best doctor I've ever had, and I'll be going back to him as long as he's at the Kirkwood Mercy.
