About Fadi Faisal Siyam, MD

Care Philosophy I knew I wanted to be an internal medicine physician but wasn't sure which subspecialty. After the end of my first week doing endocrinology during my rotation, I knew I wanted to do this until the end of my life. Diabetes is tricky. It doesn't say, 'Oh, this hurts here,' telling you there's a problem. It creeps up on you. You don't feel anything initially. You have to monitor for it. And that's where the diagnostic skill of the primary care physician comes in. Eventually, it manifests as malaise, weight loss, excessive thirst, urination, but those appear later. It's up to us to catch it before it's symptomatic and arrest progression. We've made many technological advances in monitoring and addressing diabetes, and in using immunology and mediated treatments to treat endocrinological diseases. This may anticipate a cure, which will make life so much easier for our patients. I'm a good listener and I'm here to help them feel and live better.

Dr. Siyam was extremely professional and thorough. He explained things to me and made a plan for follow up. I was very impressed with him and his staff. Everyone was very pleasant and extremely helpful with all of my questions and concerns. I'm very happy that my primary Dr referred me to Dr Siyam.

I did acquire a conjunctivitis in my left eye somehow between leaving and returning home, which I am taking care of. I have more I would like the doctor to know, a couple of things I feel are important. I have a benign L adenoma. Discovered in the 2000s. It's in the chart. I did have anxiety related hypoglycemia after the visit, for about 36 hours; data is on the CGM. I did more research on HKPP than I thought. I have more to relate about what I found. Thank you. Dr Siyam is a very nice man.

Dr. Fadi is brilliant and one of the most attentive doctors I've ever had. He explains his thought process and course of treatment clearly and in a way that's easy to understand. You know beyond a doubt your care and treatment is extremely important to him. If you need to see an endocrinologist, I'd recommend trying to make an appointment to see him. His level of care is bar none.
