Care PhilosophyI see myself as an extension of the doctor. There's so much I can do that a doctor would do exactly the same way - if I have questions though, I can run out and ask the doctor if I need to. Nurse practitioners have typically been nurses, so they've seen everything. They can be more on the same level as the patient. For instance I like being called by my first name - it puts us at the same level.

Through My Mercy they said I could come yesterday at 2:30 or 4:30, I chose 2:30. When I got there at 2:20 the checking person said I was late that my appt time was 2. I showed her the My Mercy conversation. Then she said "she'll squeeze you in." I was not the one who was in error. Why even say that? She should have apologized.
