About Julia Johnson Wambolt, APRN-CNP

Care Philosophy I have years of nursing experience at the bedside. I decided I wanted to do more for my patients, so I went back to school to become a certified nurse midwife, and then back to school a little bit more to become a women's health nurse care practitioner. In addition to being a nurse midwife and a women's health care nurse practitioner, I'm also a lactation consultant. I have been helping moms produce breast milk and learn how to either breastfeed their babies at the breast or learn how to pump and bottle feed their babies. I love helping mamas and babies. I'm very passionate about it and can't imagine doing anything else.

        This was my first time being seen by Julia Wambolt and she is by far one of the most compassionate, articulate and caring providers I have come into contact with. She attentively listened to each of my concerns I had and helped ease my nerves in regards to these concerns greatly. She offered solutions, explanations and a course of action to take with every worry I had and was simply overall amazing and kind to me. Her nurse and the rest of the team were also extremely helpful and friendly throughout my appointment.
