About Kelsey Ann Cole, DNP

Care Philosophy Ultimately, I started nursing as a pediatric nurse, and I really love that. I decided to go back to nurse Practitioner school because I felt like I could do more for my patients as a nurse practitioner. I really fell in love with health promotion and disease prevention. So it's not a surprise that I jumped into genetic oncology. Because of that, my primary function is to follow patients who have previously tested positive for pathogenic mutations often associated with various types of cancer. Mainly my goal is to help prevent the progression of cancer if we catch it early.

        Ms. Cole did a very good job explaining the genetic testing and the results. She told me how she would follow my health and how to contact her for assistance if there are any changes or concerns. I was pleased with results of my meeting with her and pleased that we have this access in Fort Smith now.
