About Marissa Lenee Hunter, APRN-CNP

Care Philosophy I decided to go into medicine because I wanted to help health people to the maximum of my ability that God gives me. I chose to specialize in family medicine because I wanted to be able to see all ages. I work to educate and collaborate with my patients to understand their health concerns and come up with a wholistic approach. I want my patients to know that I will listen to them and understand where they are coming from and will work closely with them on their treatment plans.

If your scheduled appointment has to be cancelled by the provider then you should be worked in ASAP, not forced to reschedule "back of the line" months later, especially for annual or 6 month check up care due to lab work management and prescription refills. I should also actually see my MD at least once a year.
