PA M. Pennington gave excellent compassion & care. I really felt like she was listening & taking the time to do all she could for me- either providing information or a plan of care action for next time I see her. I feel confident in her & feel confident in her knowledge as a medical professional. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Melissa, you're great.

Did not appreciate when I told the provider, that I was concerned about an increased risk of heart attack due to a recent frequent increase in bpm while resting due to stress/anxiety responses, and she immediately responded, "oh, you're not going to have a heart attack." To which I immediately responded that I agreed to disagree, due to a certain set of personal, and family medical histories, along with a list of contributing factors that increase my personal risk of such medical complications occuring..... I don't appreciate having my concerns brushed off in such a manner, so quickly, by a medical professional who cannot, and should not be, making such promises to any patient. Although she did follow up by ordering a cardio work up, and a halter monitor, and that is appreciated, I shouldn't have to argue my case in such a manner, with my own health history available to that provider through the history given, plus a willingness to answer questions in office as well. I felt she brushed it off as a panic attack and nothing more. And although I do suffer from panic attacks, I have lived with a mitral valve prolapse my entire life, and even offered the provider to sign whatever forms necessary for them to obtain the the pertinent records from my cardiologist, that diagnosed me originally, and I do indeed know the differences, between the two health issues well. It was dismissive and unprofessional behavior on part of the PA, at best. And I will not be seeing her again if at all possible.
