Care Philosophy When I was young, my brother was diagnosed with a congenital heart valve anomaly. Because of this experience, I knew I wanted to help patients and families get better and cope with their diseases. As a physician, I get significant gratification out of spending time with my patients and getting to know them on a personal level.

    My primary doctor referred me to one specific Mercy doctor. At my appt, he told me I should see him again in 3 months. The earliest appt I was offered was 6 months out. The front desk clerk refused to make another appt for me with the same Mercy doctor. She insisted that I could only see a Mercy PA. Since I need a pulmonologist to approve 2 different surgeries in the next few months, this probably will not meet my medical needs. How do I contact the nice MD to tell him I am not being allowed to see him again?

    Doctors are amazing. Very hard to get an appointment when sick and need to see a doctor ASAP.

    Dr Kanaan & staff awesome! Attentive, helpful....helped my mom with her oxygen. Dr Kanaan listened & answered all our questions....very thorough exam! Only drawback is how long it takes to get in to see him
