Mercy Volunteers Win Awards for Bringing Sunshine to Others

Howard  Goetze is an amazing volunteer that brigtens everyone's morning. One of Howard’s nominators stated "he is always friendly and smiling and displays a genuine kindness for others. He is also an excellent morning greeter for Mercy.”

A second nominator shared "Howard is so sweet to everyone. He is always upbeat and ready to offer help in any way that he can. He has recovered lost items and was able to get them back to their correct owner (to their delight). He is an amazing volunteer and an asset to any department he helps in.”

Pat Nuckols is a true volunteer at heart who gives of her time freely at Mercy and in the community. Pat’s nominator stated "she is a pleasure to work with at the surgery waiting desk. She is efficient and always has a smile on her face."

Pat also serves in the main gift shop and volunteers her time crocheting baby blankets and serves as a reading buddy.
