About 20 Mercy Home Health and Hospice Jefferson team members and their families volunteered their time and talent on October 27 at New Beginnings in Bonne Terre. The organization provides durable medical equipment (DME) to patients who cannot afford new items.

Home Care and Hospice social worker Greta Lambert works with organization founder Kathy Grogen to find DME for Mercy Jefferson patients in need.

“I’m not one to cry, but this wants to bring tears to my eyes,” Kathy told the volunteers. “You all are so amazing.”
