Youth Baseball Team Gives Back

January 23, 2019

Just like the pros, the St. Louis Rogue baseball club wanted to give back to their community. When they aren't on the field, they play video games together. So, not surprisingly, they decided to raise money for Mercy Kids to buy a fully loaded PlayStation 4, complete with games and movies.

The boys did odd jobs such as rake leaves, shovel snow, cat sit, etc. Not only did they raise enough for one, they were able to donate three PS4s.

Even at a young age, they are learning the importance of friendship and what being on a team means.

"This experience has thought them the true spirit of giving," said one player mom. "I know my son Jack will be forever changed by this experience. I’m so proud of this team of boys and coaches."
