Mercy Research cancer studies.ST. LOUIS - Brinley Ezell, 10, recently made and sold bracelets in memory of her late grandmother, Carol Bergman. She donated the proceeds to Mercy Research through the Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis with a request the money go toward cancer research.
Brinley, along with her sister, parents and grandfather Ira Bergman met at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center to present the check and show off the bracelets.
The family shared their thanks and said Dr. Heide Rodgers, Carol's oncologist, gave them give more years with Carol. They are extremely grateful to Dr. Rodgers and the entire Mercy team.
