Young Adult Cancer Survivor (YACS) Program

Come be a part of our Young Adult Cancer Survivors (YACS) program. If you’re between the ages of 18-39 and have been diagnosed with cancer, you’re invited to a free meal with other young adult cancer survivors and staff from the Pratt Cancer Center at Mercy. You’ll be able to ask questions, voice your ideas, mingle with other YACS and enjoy a meal on us.

Join us for the sessions that best fit your schedule. You may attend as many dates as you’d like. Feel free to bring a partner or a friend.

There is no YACS scheduled event in November.

YACS Holiday Party

Thursday, December 14

6 - 8 p.m.

David C. Pratt Cancer Center

First Floor Conference Room

The holiday season is busy, especially for those of us juggling families and careers. Join us for a break and help celebrate the holiday season with a white elephant party with your fellow Young Adult Survivors! Bring one wrapped “white elephant gift.” It might be a humorous item, something from the dollar store, or a used item from home that is worthy of a new home. One guest is invited and is welcome to bring a gift to exchange as well.

Dinner will be served.

Registration online required by Monday, December 11. Visit mercy.net/CancerClassesSTL to register.

If you have any questions, email Angie Ruppel for more information (angela.ruppel@mercy.net) or call 314-251-6569.
