Hybrid Coronary Revascularization (HCR) Now Available

HCR is an innovative, less invasive approach to treating coronary artery disease. This surgical procedure combines robotic heart surgery with stenting, without opening up the chest or using a heart-lung machine.

Patients have experienced less pain, shorter hospital stays and quicker recoveries with the HCR procedure. Mercy Hospital St. Louis is the first and only hospital to perform this surgery in the greater St. Louis area.
