No parent wants to hear their child has a heart problem. At Mercy Clinic Children’s Heart Center, we do our best to ease your worry by caring for you like family.
Our staff provides a warm welcome when you come to the office, and your child gets to choose a special treat from the “Bravery Chest” on the way out. Throughout your entire appointment, we strive to make you feel comfortable and involved in your child’s treatment.

The pediatric cardiologists at Mercy Clinic Children’s Heart Center are board certified and are fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology.
In addition to providing prenatal (fetal) care, we see patients from newborn to 21 years old. We enjoy building long lasting relationships with children and their families and always look forward to their visits.
Parents play a major role in the treatment plan, and we want you to be as involved as you’d like. If you have questions before or after your appointments, please call our office. Our staff wants to be available when you need us.
Common Heart Conditions We Treat
Our children’s heart clinic offers a full range of pediatric heart care services, including:
- Management of congenital heart disease
- Prenatal diagnosis of heart disease
- Evaluation and treatment of arrhythmias (including catheter ablation)
- Coronary artery disease
- Lipid abnormalities, like hypercholesterolemia (high levels of cholesterol in the blood)
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Testing, such as electrocardiograms (ECG, EKG), 24-hour Holter monitoring, echocardiography and exercise stress testing
- Care for patients with pacemakers and implantable cardio defibrillators
- An echo lab accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL)
Our connection to Mercy Children’s Hospital allows us to offer additional services for our families, including access to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
