Mercy Family Center - New Orleans began in 1992 as an outpatient behavioral health clinic with three locations in the greater New Orleans area.
We are a primary referral site for the identification and treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders like pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) and other childhood disorders.

Mercy Family Center is primarily a child and adolescent behavioral health practice. We reserve the right to screen clients for their appropriateness to our practice. All applicants must fill out the initial intake form before acceptance for service.

The identification of conditions that prevent children from achieving in school has been an integral part of Mercy Family Center’s service to the New Orleans community and we have an ongoing commitment to provide this service. However, we are currently backlogged with requests for psychological or educational assessments.
Mercy Family Center’s Healthy Hospitality Walk-in Clinic offers psychiatry, medication management, and therapy to members of New Orleans’ hospitality industry. Services are offered twice monthly on a Monday at 3221 Behrman Place #105, New Orleans, LA 70114. We accept Medicaid, private insurance, self-pay and fee-assist.
