Dry Needling

  • Dry Needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. Dry needling is a technique used to treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissue; diminish persistent peripheral nociceptive input; and reduce or restore impairments of body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation.

Cardiac Rehab Phase 2

  • This is a monitored exercise program that offers patients a safe place to exercise after a heart incident or procedure. They will also receive education on progression of exercise, daily living activities, nutrition, medications, and how to improve with a heart healthy lifestyle for future prevention.

Cardiac Rehab Phase 3

  • This is a self pay maintenance program that offers patients a safe place to exercise.  This does require an order from your physician.

How Does Physical Therapy Aid in Pelvic Health?

Pelvic issues can greatly diminish confidence and quality of life. Your physical therapist will perform an evaluation and develop a plan of care that specifically meets your needs.

Treatments may include: manual therapy for soft tissue dysfunction, specific core muscle strengthening and stress reduction techniques of biofeedback along with patient education about your symptoms and effective techniques that you can complement on your own.
