Access to clinical trials is an important aspect of cancer care. Mercy is committed to offering a variety of opportunities for patients to participate in research studies. Mercy Research - Clayton-Clarkson medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgical specialists work together to provide the latest innovations in cancer care to our patients.

Phase II, III, and IV trials in prevention, treatment and supportive care are available for many types of cancer. More than 50 National Cancer Institute (NCI) trials are available through the Community Clinical Oncology Program, a consortium of regional hospitals dedicated to cancer clinical research.
