When it opened on Oct. 4, 2010, the Mercy Surgery Center - Jefferson was the first of its kind in Missouri, providing surgery on an outpatient basis or for those expecting a short hospitalization. The new facility combines the latest technology, highly-trained surgeons and a modern single-level floor plan.
The new surgical hospital includes:

4 operating rooms
15 well-equipped, private patient suites
Decentralized nursing stations

Low nurse to patient ratios
