When you have dieted over the years as much as I have, it’s easy to burn yourself out on salads. Honestly, I never thought the day would come when I would look at a salad longingly, but here we are. After a very painful experience in which I attempted to eat a small salad and consequently suffered some version of raw vegetable revenge, I put it on my “no, no” list for now.
I’m starting to walk regularly, and while I don’t have marathon stamina right now…I’m moving in the right direction. I’m nearly at the two-month post-surgery milestone, and while this hasn’t been an easy journey, I have no regrets.
