David Smith serves as administrator of Mercy’s hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas. He joined Mercy in this role in 2025, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in critical access, acute and ambulatory health care settings. Prior to Mercy, David served as a chief executive officer for the last six years in the critical access setting.
