The March of Dimes Missouri Chapter's Nurse of the Year Awards Gala was held on Oct. 25. After receiving a record number of nominations – more than 585 nurses representing 20 disciplines and 71 health care institutions – the March of Dimes presented 20 awards. Of the many Mercy nurses nominated, we had winners in four of the 20 categories: two from St. Louis, one from Jefferson and one from Joplin.
