ST. LOUIS - Valentine’s Day holds a special place in the hearts of kids. Residents from Green Park Senior Living Community in South County want to help make it special for kids in the hospital. As part of their 10th Annual “Project Plush,” residents and their families collected and donated 100 plush animals for patients and siblings at Mercy Children’s Hospital. Green Park representatives delivered the animals to the kids to brighten their Valentine’s Day.

“When kids are hospitalized on a holiday, anything we can do to normalize it helps,” said Alberta Lee, child life manager with Mercy Children’s Hospital. “The residents at Green Park have been helping us brighten Valentine’s Day for ten years and the patients and families are very appreciative.”
