Tyler Hillis, recently named vice president of operations, joined the leadership team at Mercy Hospital Ardmore.
Hillis has been with Mercy since 2013 serving in multiple communities, most recently in Festus, Missouri as executive director of operations and strategic initiatives at Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
He will lead diagnostic imaging, heart and vascular, pharmacy, sleep, respiratory, laboratory, inpatient rehabilitation, therapy services, food and nutrition, environmental services and transportation at Mercy Hospital Ardmore.
“Tyler has a great deal of health care leadership experience with Mercy and we know he is dedicated to living out our mission,” said Daryle Voss, president of Mercy Hospital Ardmore. “We look forward to welcoming him to the Ardmore community.”
Hillis earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a collegiate golfer, and went on to earn a Master of Heath Administration at the University of Missouri.
Hillis and his wife, Hope, grew up in a small Missouri town. They were in kindergarten and grade school together and reunited in their hometown after college. They have two young boys, Cade and Joe, along with a dog named Charley. In his free time, Hillis enjoys golf and running.
The Hillis family has lived in the St. Louis area for the last several years but are eager to raise their boys in a small, tight-knit community like Ardmore.
“Mercy Hospital Ardmore already has an incredible team with impressive quality metrics and patient satisfaction scores and I’m just honored they’ve asked me to join,” Hillis said. “I’m looking forward helping lead the team toward providing the best care possible for our patients.”
