ARDMORE, Okla. — Appointments are now available at Mercy’s newest health care services expansion in Ardmore, a gastroenterology clinic with a full-time specialist for complete diagnostic testing and care.
Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology — Ardmore, located at 731 12th Ave. N.W., Suite 305, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday. The highly trained staff offers advanced medical techniques to restore and protect digestive health.
“Digestive issues can have an outsize effect on anyone’s quality of life,” said Dr. Lori Ford, the new clinic’s board-certified gastroenterologist. “And while it can be a sensitive issue to discuss, putting off care can make it worse. That’s what we’re here for. At our clinic, we’ll work with you to help you understand the factors that affect your gut health and what can be done to get you feeling better.”
Conditions treated at the clinic include upper gastrointestinal disorders like gas, bloating, heartburn, acid reflux and dysphagia. The specialists diagnose and treat liver diseases like cirrhosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, plus lower gastrointestinal disorders like abdominal pain, fecal incontinence, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease and more.
Colon cancer screening and other common procedures are also available by appointment.
