"This new clinic is dedicated to serving seniors with personalized, compassionate care,” said Dr. Lance Faddis, Mercy’s regional executive physician for primary care. “We are ready to meet the unique needs of older adults and provide them with the time, convenience, and support they need to be healthy.”

The physicians at 65 Prime+ by Mercy are supported by a registered nurse and care navigator. Nurses provide clinical support to patients during visits and care between visits, while the care navigator helps coordinate all other aspects of the patient’s care. That could include referrals to specialists, therapists or other providers, setting up tests or procedures, obtaining prescriptions and medical equipment and making sure that all preventive care like immunizations, lab tests and cancer screenings are obtained. Other specialized accommodations include examination tables that recline, allowing the patient to feel more comfortable during their visits.
