Mercy Health Foundation Southeast will host its annual Mercy Golf Classic in early September, benefiting the Patient Care Fund.
This year’s tournament will take place Monday, Sept. 8, at the Dalhousie Golf Club, 4700 Cords Way, Cape Girardeau. Shotgun tee time options are 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Meals are included, with a continental breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m
Each year, the tournament benefits the foundation’s Patient Care Fund, which supports Mercy Southeast patients facing financial hardship. The fund ensures patients from throughout the community can access lifesaving, exceptional health care with financial support for transportation, lodging, medication, medical equipment and more.
“The Mercy Golf Classic is an event we look forward to each year,” said Darah Jirkovsky, Mercy Health Foundation Southeast executive director. “It really brings our community together, and the proceeds stay here in Southeast Missouri to benefit our patients. They are our friends and neighbors, and this tournament alone can make a big impact for a patient in need of support.”
Registration is open to individuals and teams of four or eight, with multiple team sponsorship levels available. The deadline to sponsor this year’s tournament is Monday, Aug. 18. Registrations will remain open until all slots are filled. To register or learn more, visit MercyHealthFoundation.net/SoutheastGolf or call 573-519-4922.
