Mercy Health Foundation Southeast will present the Festival of Trees next month, benefiting local patients in need of financial assistance.
Festival of Trees will be held Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Meadows Event Center, 11049 State Highway ZZ, Dexter. Guests will enjoy a festive evening of hors d’oeuvres from 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner, drinks, entertainment with Joy Brooker and a silent auction from 7 to 9 p.m.
“It’s always exciting for us when we can kick off the season of giving in Dexter with the Festival of Trees, which is one of our biennial events,” said Darah Jirkovsky, executive director of Mercy Health Foundation Southeast. “All the proceeds of this event help improve the lives of Mercy patients by ensuring they can receive the care they need and assistance at home if they need it.”
Mercy Health Foundation Southeast’s Regional Patient Care Fund provides transportation for patients and a wide array of financial assistance to low-income patients by addressing their most pressing needs. It also provides medication, housing and utility assistance to patients. All the money raised stays in Southeast Missouri to support patients from the region.
